“ I was a bit hesitant because of previous reviews about it being very busy, but I’m so glad I tried my luck! The seasonal pancakes were delicious! The service was great too. It is on the pricier side though (compared to other possible options in the area). If you enjoy sweet and tangy flavors I recommend this plate. I paired it with a side of bacon. ”

“ I had a great experience at Dandy. The service was excellent and very efficient. The brunch menu is creative and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Despite the long line outside, it moved quickly and we were seated sooner than expected. The restaurant has a smart system where the menu is already available outside, so you can decide what you want before going in. Once we were seated, our food arrived very fast, which made the whole experience even better. The ambiance is modern and lively, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautifully designed. Definitely a spot I’d return to and recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality brunch in the city. ”

“ Our favorite brunch place in Montreal, though on weekends best to get there right at opening or a few minutes before so you don’t have to wait. We always visit at least twice every time we visit Montreal. Their mushroom toast was chock full of delicious local mushrooms and the bread is the perfect texture. In the past we have also loved their pesto. The menu only has a few items but all are done well. Pastries like the maple sugar tart (a must try) and the blueberry bostock are both amazing, flavors on point. ”

“ This place doesn't take reservations. I came here on a Wednesday around noon and it was pretty packed but we didn't have to wait more than maybe 20 minutes for a table. Parking in the area is not great, but it's expected. So plan ahead. The menu is the perfect size and had trouble choosing as everything sounded amazing. We went with multiple plates, and enjoyed all of them. I really enjoyed the potatoes. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. It definitely emptied out around 1pm. So if you don't want to wait in line, just go outside peak hours. I would definitely recommend and am looking forward to coming back one day. ”

“ Super adorable brunch spot located in the rustic old buildings of Montreal. Old on the outside, new on the inside! My sister and I went over the weekend and had to try this spot after looking at the pictures! We ordered the Ricotta Pancakes, the Buttermilk Fried Chix Sandwich and the Sausage Roll. The Ricotta Pancakes were very soft and you can see bits of ricotta when you cut into it. The brown sugar maple sauce is to die for; I could drink it! There’s also a lemon cream that balances the sweetness from the sauce. The Buttermilk Fried Chix Sandwich was honestly the best item we tried. Lightly battered and a huge piece of chicken. There’s also a green apple slaw that pairs so well with it. Massive sandwich, but with all the right ingredients. The Sausage Roll is only offered on the weekend; it’s flaky and super delicious. Reminds me of the ones in England! For our drinks, we ordered the Matcha Latte & Chai Latte. The matcha was slightly bitter but really frothy and smooth. The chai latte was creamy and honestly a really good cup of chai! Cute spot with quite a bit of seating. It fills up quickly, so make sure to go early. We went at 10:15am on a Sunday and only managed to snag the last 2 person table for the first round of brunchers. Customer service was wonderful; happy and helpful servers. They also offer some baked goods that you can take to go such as their scones, cookies, brownies, butter tarts and more! I definitely plan on coming back in the future! ”

“ I brought my parents to have a Mother’s Day celebration. The wait time was super quick, like 5-10 minutes and we were served to a nice table. The server was very courteous, and the food was quick to come even if it was packed. The food were all really good and a very good portion. We ate only savoury food. My dad and mom really enjoyed their time there and thought it was super tasty. The patates and chicken are super yum!!!! ”
